A temporary to semi-permanent installation to curate connection, discovery, play, and intimacy in public space.
The Velvet Parlour Popup was first featured at Dali Gras III at The Template OB. This installation was part of a 1 day mini festival and transformed an every day surf shack into a portal for play.
The popup invited guest to submerge into rooms designed to guide you through activities that created presence, pleasure + play with self and others. Each room featured audio prompts, interactive elements, and an ambience that provoked mysticism and sensuality. The Velvet Parlour is a custom Intimacy Design that reminds and shows people how to reimagine relationships and bring the depth, authenticity, and excitement of connection back to surface in fun and accessible ways.
The Velvet Parlour is available for booking as a popup for one to multiple day events, festivals or retreats. The Velvet Parlour is also available for short or long term customized interactive experiential installation inside pre-existing public spaces such as event venues, coffee shops, cafes, lounges, and hotels.
