THE MALE GAZE //Male intimacy x performance
The male gaze is something often seen as extractive. Transactional. Penetrative - in order to accomplish, control, conquer. But there are ways in which one’s perception lingers, not to deplete - but to expand what their eyes are laid upon. There’s a way in which one can feel the unseen and shape what may have been previously unknown. There’s a precision, an essence that is connected to the ways in which certain people see, experience, express, and perfect any singular thing.
This is art.
This is creation.
And there’s a unique way in which those brave enough to move against the grain of societal norms, peer pressures, and generalizations assigned to anyone with a particular anatomy take on the world. Not always with a hopes to become known, but often with a devotion to impact the part of society that they touch.
Through visual stimulation, sound, motion, experience, and community.
This is how our musicians, painters, dancers, performers, and entertainers are formed.
Not solely from ego - although there’s a level of devotion to self that is inescapable. But, also, through a commitment to the bit - to the choreography - the tune - to the script - to the vision that lives within one’s own head and body.
We all hand our soul over to something in a lifetime. Open our own hearts to ensure that they’re capable of breaking. As a proclamation - to say - this is what I care about. This is my passion. And even when I feel purposeless - this is what I will commit my time to as a legacy to leave behind. A timestamp of my existence to this place, this period of time.

HERE WITH HER is Femme for femme exploration of sexuality, pleasure + love beyond the male gaze
What happens when we open towards curiosity in connections that feel safe? Female sexuality becomes uninhibitied + expressed. A declaration to removing the pressure of male gaze or mysognistic performance and drop into the present moment with intentionality and care. Being embodied is more than just an expression for others to witness, it’s a dedicated journey into the depths of self. It holds another’s beautiful soul intimately, authentically, and within the layers of femininity that only she can know. I choose to be Here with Her as a proclaimation and reclaimation of my own pleasure through friendship, pleasure, play + love.
