THE AFTERS CHRONICLES:
The first inception of The Velvet Parlour debuted at The Poetry Brothel:Spellbound at Park & Rec in Central San Diego.
The Velvet Parlour began as an interactive booth where event patrons could experience private readings influenced by poetry, tarot, oracle, and mysticism.
The Velvet Parlour Booth provided a haven for escape for those seeking to settle into being seen a little deeper in an environment where everyone was invited to be a main character. Event participants could sit for a short reading and select to be read by the sensual seductress, Oracle Moriganna Veil. Each reading held intuitive wisdom translated in poetic form that opened space for those who dared to be seen to receive a personalized oral channeling of their past, present, or future with permission to be rawly, vulnerabily, and openly witnessed and held.
The ones brave enough to sit before the Oracle received a gift of an oral affirmation that translated something deeply felt. Every guest arrived curious and left with a deeper sense of feeling deeply seen. They were invited to spin the when and pull an act of intimacy to translate the experience beyond their own.
