THE AFTERS CHRONICLES:
The first popup of The Velvet Parlour debuted at Dali Gras III at The Template Ocean Beach. The popup held an self guided immersive experience for attendees of the one day music + arts festival to drop into and follow their curiosity and find reprieve from the main event. The popup took over a former Surf Shake + shed to the coffee ship + music venue and invited attendees to pause, become present, and center connection and platonic intimacy. Each room held a different instructive, guided voice recording, and tangible tools that lead attendees into consensual connection that invites not only experiencing the moment, but creating lasting memories.
Below you can view, scroll + click through a layer of the live event to experience an element of what was created for this space. When guests entered The Velvet Parlour, they teleported temporarily into a portal of the present moment and were allowed to feel, connect, and reset before returning to the party. I hope that your time here gives you a glimmer of the pleasure that this space brought to life in real time.

The Velvet Parlour is an intimacy design staple for interactive moments of fantasy and play. Each experience is customized to the space and theme and invites guests into a land of mysticism. Inside The Velvet Parlour once can discover for private readings, engage in interactive games, performance arts + the exploration of becoming part of the experience. Guests will arrive curious and leave feeling a deeper sense of whimsey, pleasure, playfulness, and euphoria. Each experience is custom built for the setting - making a unique intimacy design for the occasion.
