Once upon a time, a group of curious and playful humans said yes to community 
and creativity and that's where our story began...

This June 5th - 7th, DuckDuckRoar brings back our summer festival, 
only an hour east of San Diego, and you're invited to step straight into the storybook.

For three days and nights, we co-create a renegade, community-built festival rooted in Burning Man principles: radical inclusion, participation, self-expression, self-reliance, gifting, and communal care. Everyone who comes is part of what makes the magic real.

This theme is about channeling your inner child and writing your own story. About wonder and mischief. About remembering how to play. About ritual, imagination, and letting yourself get a little lost in the fairytale.

• Funktion-One sound carrying intentional DJ journeys

• Live music & bands weaving through day and night

• Yoga, acro yoga, & movement to wake the body and calm the nervous system

• Workshops and experiences exploring creativity, embodiment, and connection

• Tea lounges, art galleries, cuddle puddles, and cozy corners

• Healers offering their services in intentional spaces for care & integration

• Interactive art and immersive themed environments built by the community

• A roaring fire flow circle

• A weekend with some of the most welcoming and electrifying humans you'll ever meet

This festival is for people who love music, art, and immersive environments that feel intentional and alive.

For healers, artists, dancers, fire flowers, acroyogis, and builders. For those who want to participate, not just consume. For those who lead with curiosity over judgement and believe play can be meaningful, healing can be joyful, and community can be transformative.

If you enjoy camping, being a little off-grid, and sharing space with good people, you'll feel right at home here.

You don't need to have festival experience, Burning Man knowledge, or a role to play to belong here. 
Show up as you are. Participate at your own pace. Follow your curiosity. 
There's always room to observe, learn, and ease your way in!

Consent is key in everything we do - in movement, conversation, touch, art, and play. We practice clear communication, respect boundaries, and look out for one another. DuckDuckRoar is a community built on mutual care, responsibility, and trust.

This may not be for you if you're looking for a highly commercial, hands-off, "show up and be entertained" experience. This is not a place to abuse substances. DuckDuckRoar works because everyone who comes helps shape the world we're in together.

DuckDuckRoar is kept small by design. 
Capacity is limited and this festival will sell out of tickets.

DuckDuckRoar aka DDR Sanctuary is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. These events are organized by a group of friends who are driven by the deep desire to bring people together. All ticket revenue is put back into the festival and future events.
